About
Nik Firka is a Toronto-based graphic designer and art director specializing in the fields of branding (print and web), publication design and typography. He holds an honours diploma in Graphic Design from Humber College. In 2012, he was mentored by Rod McDonald (Monotype) and Patrick Griffin (Canada Type) throughout the development of H&W Grotesque. From 2009–2015, he has worked at the award-winning design studio Hambly & Woolley. He is currently working for Toronto Metropolitan University’s central marketing department.
